Case Study: Blogs Website + Logo

Case Study: Blogs Website + Logo
Client: Aleksi from Finland

We had been having constant conversation with an amazing person from Finland, on linkedin.

He was sharing about his currently owned businesses and how he is planing to make his Blogs website to help his personal branding.

He is a from a Tech background, so he asked us if we are interested in making a design for his Blogs website, plus the logo and help him in branding as well.

We said YES!!! And jumped onto it for the research.

He had already decided to develop it on Wordpress, which was kind of a bummer ☹️

Ssshhh🤫....We really hate wordpress, ngl.

Nevertheless, We got to work, getting the designs and logos.

And while doing research, We didn't just got the design. we straight out hit the jackpot!

We found GHOST, hold on there, not a real ghost!
It's an amazing completely open source platform which we found to be crazily useful for creating, sharing, managing, analysing Blogs.

It has so many features and functionalities that we could not even go through them all!

Main important features:-

  • We can choose from 100's of themes and templates.
  • We can even create a custom design from scratch and upload it to Ghost, super easily.
  • Newsletter, Analytics, Bulk Emails, Lots of integration of other services, and much more, This is loaded with cool features.

AND, when we showed this to the client, he was surprised and happy to see this, and just forgot about wordpress.

Then, We thought where to host this amazing open source application, keep in mind that it was just an Personal Blogs Website, so we didn't want the client to spend too much on this.

And again we found another awesome hosting platform names "PIKAPODS", which is specifically used for hosting open source tools and applications.

It is super cheap to host, and it can literally develop amazing open source applications within 3 clicks, that't it.

For knowing more information about it, you can check out our previous blog here

And meanwhile we had been creating logo for him in Adobe Illustrator, which he liked as well.

So, this is how we closed this small project 😉.

And we hope you got something out this!
